Repetitive Strain Injury

Typical symptoms in patients who might receive a diagnosis of RSI are:

  • short bursts of pain in the neck, back, shoulders, arm, wrists, hands, or thumbs (sometimes with associated tingling and numbness)
  • the pain worsening on continued activity
  • weakness in these problem areas

A common complaint is due to the nature of computer based work environments.

Simple ergonomic measures and a new look at your posture can help you reduce the impacting strain whilst treatment rebalances the tissue and joint disturbances to improve symptoms and restore you.

Our osteopath provides Ergonomic Assessments both formally, for your company with a report and recommendations for equipment, and informally, just for your own benefit.
